Booking conditions Treetop Spa, Hangout & Hotel
You and the hotel agree on the terms of the room rental. The name of the company that runs Treetop Spa, Hangout & Hotel is called Mercurex AB (org no 556603-8963). Unless a special agreement has been reached, the following rules apply. For conferences and group bookings, special rules apply according to the trade organization Visita.
Booking and confirmation
A booking is binding as soon as it has been confirmed and you have received a reservation number. This can be done orally, in writing or via our reservation system. When booking, you are required to state your name, address, arrival and departure time, and how payment is to be made. Different rules apply to different prices, see detailed pricing information.
Booking of minors without the parent's company
To book a room at Treetop you must be at least 18 years old. A person who books a room for a minor is responsible for the room regardless if they accompany the child or not.
Taking guests to the hotel room
For security reasons, we only allow our employees and checked-in guests to enter hotel rooms or other reserved premises.
Arrival and departure
Check-in and check-out times vary depending on the reservation. Please read the detailed pricing information when making the reservation.
Cancellations and no-shows
The terms of cancellation can vary depending on the rate plan chosen. Please read detailed pricing information carefully. Unless otherwise agreed at the time of booking or the price you have chosen has other rules, cancellation must be made no later than 6 pm the day before arrival. No shows will be charged for one night.
For room bookings, there is the option of booking a "non-refundable" room which has a lower price, and means that the booking cannot be rebooked or canceled, and in case of cancellation or no-show will not be refunded. Flex prices allow you to cancel or change your arrival if made no later than 6 pm the day prior to arrival.
Rebooking protection - package deals
For several of the packages, it is possible to buy a rebooking protection in connection with making your reservation. This means that you can change the date of your stay for up to one year, subject to price changes. Rebooking must be made no later than 48 hours before arrival, via email to [email protected]. If you have booked several rooms, you need to add the same number of rebooking protections. Rebooking protection can only be purchased in connection with making the booking, never afterwards.
Early departures and indeterminate stays
If your booking is made for a specified period of time but departure takes place earlier, this may result in price adjustments. Please contact the reception and announce your departure. If you stay at the hotel and extend your stay by one day at a time, you must notify departure no later than 6 pm the day before departure, or we have the right to charge for an extra day. If the hotel can no longer let you use the room, you have the right to know this no later than 6 pm the day before departure.
Payment - Cash-free hotel
For some prices, prepayment applies, please read detailed pricing information. This amount is deducted from the final bill. If you cancel the room without regard to the cancellation policy, the hotel has the right to retain the booking fee/advance payment. Generally, the hotel bill must be paid when you receive it, usually upon arrival at the hotel. The hotel accepts the most common credit cards and Swish. However, the hotel is not obliged to accept credit cards, checks, coupons or foreign currency if the hotel has not offered to do so.
Your own safety
Always find out where emergency exits, alarm buttons and fire extinguishers are located. Look for details in the information on the inside of the hotel room door. Also read the brochure "Staying in a Hotel" which is available in all hotel rooms.
Storage of valuables and luggage in the hotel room or in the luggage room
Please do not leave valuables or luggage unattended at check-in/check-out, breakfast or while waiting for taxi or bus. The hotel has no security obligation to store property of high value or property that could endanger the hotel staff or other guests. The hotel does not have any strict liability for property that you keep in the hotel room or in your suitcase. At the reception there is a safe where we can help store smaller items.
